How to Maintain the Inkjet Printers Properly

1.Make sure that the printer works on a solid level and do not put anything on top of the printer.The printer must close its front cover to prevent dust or other hard items from entering the printer's car and causing unnecessary failure. If you open two cartridges at the same time (a black cartridge, a color cartridge), you should put one of the cartridges in the random cartridge case. It is forbidden to plug and draw printed wires on the live line. This will damage the printer's print port and PC's parallel port, and will even break the PC motherboard.

2.Ensure the cleaning of the use of the environment. The use of too much dust in the environment can easily lead to poor lubrication of the guide axis of the word car, causing the movement of the head to be blocked in the printing process, causing the inaccurate position of the printing position or the crash of the mechanical frame. Sometimes, because the printer head does not return to the initial position, the printer first lets the printer head back to the initial position when the printer is reopened, then the printing head will be cleaned, so the ink is unnecessary to waste. The way to solve this problem is to wipe off the dust on the guide shaft and lubricate the guide shaft.

3.If the printout is not too clear, stripes or other defects.The printer can be cleaned by automatic cleaning function, but a small amount of ink needs to be consumed. If the printing is not satisfactory after several times of continuous washing, ink may be used up and the cartridge needs to be replaced.

4.Before shutting down, let the print head go back to the initial position (the printer automatically returns to the initial position when the printer is in a pause state). Some printers automatically move the print head to the initial position before closing the machine, and some printers must be in the shutdown state (that is, a pause or PAUSE light) to turn off the machine. In this way, the printer will not be able to waste ink at the next time the printer is open, and two is because the head can be sealed in the initial position, so that the nozzle is not easy to block.

5. Some printers are mechanically locked in the initial position. At this point, if you move the print head with your hands, you will not be able to leave the initial position. Be careful not to move the printing head forcefully, otherwise the mechanical part of the printer will be damaged.

6.When changing the cartridge, we must follow the steps in the operation manual, and pay special attention to the above operation when the power is turned on. Since the cartridge is replaced, the printer will ink the ink delivery system, which will not be carried out in the shutdown state, and the printer can not detect the reinstalled ink cartridges. In addition, some printers count the capacity of the ink by using the electronic counter inside the printer (especially in the statistics of the use of the color ink). When the counter reaches a certain value, the printer determines the use of the ink. In the process of ink cartridge replacement, the printer will reset its internal electronic counter, thus confirming the installation of a new cartridge.

7.When you plug in the printer power line and print the cable as much as possible when you turn off the printer's power, especially when using an old style parallel port with a computer.

Of course, no inkjet printer is perfect.It will also be occasional jams, smudges and errors. But if we maintain our inkjet printers properly,these problems will be reduced greatly.
