What Common Problems Can be Seen in Sublimation Printing?(2)
Last time, we talked about the 2 common problems in sublimation printing : banding and moisture issues. Now, let’s talk about the another 3 problems. 1. Ghosting & Gassing Out As we all know that when it is in transfer, heat press surface, transfer paper and surface of substrate must be close, can not have the gaps, otherwise it will make the transferred graphics blur. The key to solve this problems is how to keep the transfer paper and the substrate close tightly. There are some solutions: First, use heat resistant tape to secure the transfer to the product. Use care not to tape across the image area as this can often damage the image quality. In addition, use only a minimal amount of tape, as you will need to be able to easily and quickly remove the transfer after pressing.
