Sublimation ink is an essential part of sublimation printing. Many people all complain about the high costs of buying the sublimation ink, but have you ever pay attention to save your ink during the process of sublimation printing?

As we all know, the inappropriate operations can lead to the waste of sublimation paper and sublimation ink or something else. But as long as we pay attention to some little details, we will save a lot of money, especially the sublimation ink.

1. Maintain your printer regularly

Good Inkjet printer usually has a better performance than bad one, and new inkjet printer usually have a better performance than the old one. So, no matter what printer you buy, try to maintain your printer regularly, only when your printer work well, it can help you save the ink.

2. Don’t turn off the printer frequently

If you need to print several times everyday, i don’t suggest you turn off the printer once you finished a printing tasks. It will damage your inkjet printer and also waste your sublimation ink.

3. Sometimes choose the cheap sublimation ink

If the printing quality doesn’t matter to your clients, then there is no need to use expensive ink. It would be better that you switch to the ink of lower brand and save the good quality ink for the clients for whom quality is important.

4.Check the driver setting in your computer

Have you ever changed the driver setting to the ink-saving mode and then test the printing quality? If you find that the image looks good under the ink-saving mode, then you can save a lot of ink.

5. Choose the good quality sublimation paper

Poor quality sublimation paper is always an important factor which lead to the waste of sublimation ink. If you buy the high quality sublimation paper, you can save a lot of money in ink’s purchasing.
