But generally it requires special pretreatment of cotton fabrics to reduce the shadow of the ink and prevent blurred images. Then it needs high temperature steam to fix colors. However, using textile pigment inks for digital printing cannot achieve the effect of thermal transfer.

At present, the technology that is really used for large-scale digital printing in business and industry is mainly dye-sublimation transfer printing. And it has become popular around the world in the last year. This is mainly due to the low price of thermal transfer inks introduced in China, which makes the cost of large-scale digital printing no longer expensive. In the past, it was mainly monopolized by a U.S. company and a South Korean company. The price was high, and the cost for high-volume printing could not be accepted.
