For ink-jet printing pictures, outdoor exposure of the UV digital printer will quickly cause the picture to lose its fullness and water, making the picture yellow, faded, and dry. Most of these conditions are caused by ultraviolet light, which destroys the ink structure. Especially for unprotected dye (DYE) ink, only 10 hours of exposure will destroy the color of the picture.

Under such circumstances, how to protect the UV inkjet printer to draw the picture under the sun? We can actually use the following three methods:
1. The UV inkjet printer needs to purchase qualified ink and printing materials, especially the pigment ink in outdoor large-scale inkjet printing.

2. Protect the painting surface of the UV printing machine with an anti-ultraviolet coating.

3. Try to choose a place where the backlight is or where it will not be exposed to direct sunlight to post the picture.

Lamination is also a late method often used by UV printing machines to draw pictures, also called glue. The chemicals used in the coating can absorb or isolate ultraviolet rays, prolonging the vividness of the picture.

When laminating, please check that the printing material cannot be used under fluorescence. If the printing material uses optical brightening material to increase the brightness of the white background, it absorbs ultraviolet rays and then reflects the blue light energy, and can correct the yellow of the substrate to make it white. If your anti-ultraviolet coating blocks the ultraviolet rays directed at this substrate, the white area in your picture will be slightly yellow.

Outdoor direct sunlight is very harmful. In order to avoid direct sunlight, you can choose a shade or a blocked place. Try not to directly expose the painting surface of the UV inkjet printer to the sun, which can effectively reduce the damage of ultraviolet rays.
