How to Avoid the Peeling Off When Heat Pressing on Garment?

What are the headache problems for people in garment sublimation printing? I guess the peeling off of the graphics must be one. Try to think when you customers find the graphics on the garments are peeling off, will they do the business with you again? The answer is absolutely not. Then how to prevent this problem? The heat press machine is the essential matter.

1. Remember to preheat the garment in advance. Preheating helps release moisture and wrinkles that can affect adhesion. Just put the garment on the heat press machine and heat it for a few seconds (possibly several times) until you think there is no moisture.

2. The appropriate pressure. Make sure the heat press surface, transfer paper and surface of substrate must be close, can not have gaps.  If seams, buttons or collars are on the pressing area, they are absorbing pressure that is intended to be distributed to your graphic. Compensate by increasing pressure or removing the barriers.

sublimation transfer printing3. Appropriate temperature and time. Before transfer printing, please make a sample test to set an appropriate temperature and time. Inappropriate temperature and time will ruin your products.

4. Transfer adhesives. There are all kinds of transfer adhesives in the market, they are suitable for different fabrics. If you need the help of them, remember to choose the right one.

5. Different heat pressing requirements. Different substrates need different heat pressing environment. When you receive an order, pay attention to what you are going to print. Make a care instructions of different products for yourself and your workers, and it will help you save a lot of time and money.
